Join us for our day camp focused on social justice that’s facilitated by youth for youth!
Who: Any students who have completed 7-11th grade, and live or attend school in the Northeast Kingdom are welcome to apply! No experience with activism or social justice issues is necessary, only an interest and willingness to learn further about these topics.
When: 11am-4pm August 13-15
Where: St. Johnsbury Community Hub. (428 Railroad Street, Suite 2.)
What: Participants will learn skills, hear from experts, make crafts, and discuss issues within social justice. Youth will share their own priorities on topics within this application, and we will use this information to determine an agenda which suits our group goals and interests best.
Why: We want to provide a space for youth to learn how to create change and progress within their communities, something which isn't often available in rural Vermont.
Accessibility: We’ll do our best to help with transportation. We’ll ask about accessiblity needs in the application.
*The camp is free to attend, and lunch will be provided each day.
Apply by June 3rd, or email us if you need an extension!
